Jose Pedro Faustino is an undergraduate at the University of Sao Paulo studying mathematics and computer science, with undergraduate research in partial differential equations. He came to AI safety through Condor Camp, a programme for Brazilian students, later received a grant to work through a deep learning curriculum, and built and taught a follow-on programme for its alumni. His research interests are theoretical, centred on mathematics and proving theorems.
